With summer winding down – Sandbox is still in full swing! Here’s a quick overview of all the stories Sandbox shared over the past few weeks (including Gamescom) ICYMI!

New Game Reveals

• Focus Entertainment & Saber Interactive revealed Road Kings, a next-gen truck simulation game, at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live showcase.
• Saber also announced Docked, a realistic port management sim in development for PC, PS5 and XSX.
• The world’s most famous beagle is on the case! Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club was revealed, coming to consoles and PC on October 10.
• Hot Wheels Let’s Race: Ultimate Speed was announced, bringing the fun of the hit Netflix animated series to consoles and PC on October 24!
• The high-speed excitement of the original Fast & Furious arcade racer is coming home with the newly announced Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition, releasing on consoles October 24!

New Game Releases

• Polden Publishing’s Static Dread: The Lighthouse launched on Steam, pairing Lovecraftian horrors with a lone lighthouse keeper. Guide ships through the abyss or be lost to the all-consuming darkness.
• Saber Interactive released World War Z VR, bringing swarms of zombies to life like never before via Meta Quest and Steam VR.
• Saber also released The Knightling, featuring a plucky little hero with a big shield in a world of fantasy action, platforming and adventure! 
• Goosebumps: Terror in Little Creek launched, inviting players to explore an eerie town and face new frights inspired by R.L. Stine’s iconic book series!

Upcoming Game Launches

• Train Sim World 6 revealed a September 30 release date on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, bringing new routes and features to the beloved series! The train pulls out of the station with five days of early access for Deluxe/Special Edition owners starting Sept. 25.
• CRITICAL REFLEX announced FOUR upcoming release dates from its fall catalog:
  • The paranoia thriller No, I’m not a Human — September 15
  • The unhinged trolley-conductor sim TROLEU — September 15
  • Eclipsium, the dreamlike horror experience — September 19
  • The spine-tingling point-and-click horror game CARIMARA: Beneath the forlorn limbs — October 6

New Game Updates & Other Stories

• Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser’s Absurd Ventures announced that Smilegate will publish its upcoming AAA open-world RPG set in the A Better Paradise universe. 
• The surreal, Kafkaesque immersive sim Militsioner launched its Steam open playtest with a new trailer at the Future Games Show.
• Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 revealed its Year 2 Content Roadmap, kicking off with the massive new Anniversary Update, available now on PC, PS5 and XSX.

New Trailers

• Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment revealed an early 2026 release window alongside a new gameplay trailer for John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live.
• Saber’s Jurassic Park: Survival is still a ways off, but the team released a new video dev diary taking fans behind the scenes of how the upcoming action-adventure game is working to deliver on the love and excitement for the original film.
• Pro drivers got behind the wheel for hands-on racing action in NASCAR 25’s newest dev diary.
• The highly anticipated pirate survival game Crosswind announced with a new trailer that it will debut in Steam Early Access in 2026.
• tinyBuild revealed a new gameplay trailer for Ferocious, the dino FPS launching on Steam this winter.
• tinyBuild’s upcoming fantasy RPG Of Ash and Steel received a new gameplay overview trailer at the Find Your Next Game show during Gamescom.
• Hozy, tinyBuild’s upcoming stress-free, cozy room renovator, dropped a new trailer to showcase some of the latest content in the game’s ongoing Steam playtest.
