Thanksgiving with Sanbdox

Sandbox Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving in the United States tomorrow, Team Sandbox is getting hungry for good food! We asked the team, what video game food would you bring to Thanksgiving if you had the chance?

Video Game Thanksgiving

Tyler – I’ve been thinking about this question for like a week, and my mind keeps going back to the Yoshi’s Island Watermelon’s. Those things looked amazing as a kid, and they still do. Live photo of me attached below:

Joe – I would just invite the Meowscular Chef from Monster Hunter Worlds, because everything he cooks looks amazing.

Rob – fruit plate courtesy of Pikmin 3. They look like they would be really tasty!

Tim – I’m finally going to get revenge on this dude for trapping me in a phone booth as a child:

Elena – The iconic Black Forest gateau from Portal. This cake is great, it’s so delicious and moist.

Kim – One of my favorite Mario Party minigames is Cake Factory, so I would have to go with a vanilla frosted cake with a GIANT strawberry on top.

Tony  The chefs in Monster Hunter Worlds + Iceborne are all top tier but that food is largely normal food so I am going to go with Poke Puffs! No idea what is in them – but they look good.

Val – I would bring a fruitcake, but specifically this fruitcake from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (art by Reddit user curlystraw44). This is some Holiday Baking Championship-worthy dessert.

Dan – I considered the perfectly preserved pie from Fallout 4 as a flex, but I’ll opt for a bunch of Rare Candy instead. I think we could all use the boost.

We hope everyone has a great holiday and gets to enjoy some time off (and some good food!)
