One of the major bummers in 2020 has been the lack of team time for all of us at Sandbox. To help make up for it, Val had the idea to organize a charity “virtual 5K” to raise money for Feeding America. We all came together to make it happen this past weekend, and the event was a huge success! Everyone did their walk/run independently, but we were able to track one another’s progress and share pictures from our journey. And most importantly, we raised over $4,000 for Feeding America!
Though the distance goal for everyone was 3.1 miles, some people went above and beyond. At the top of the leader board was Duck Dynasty’s own Miss Kay, who traveled 32+ miles over the course of the weekend! All in all, the event was a lot of fun and we hope to keep doing charity events like this in the future!
