Sandbox fun in Europe!

PR Update
We had a fun month with Rovio, beginning in San Francisco where we worked with Resolution Games to demo Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs. Check out Engadget’s hands-on preview from the session and Game Informer’s review of the game! A new Angry Birds Movie 2 trailer was revealed last week; you can watch it on GameSpot.
Saber Interactive revealed a bunch of new info around World War Z in February. See the PvPvZ trailer on ComicBook, the release date announcement and trailer on Rock Paper Shotgun, and the pre-order news and trailer on SyFy! NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 released a free DLC update around the NBA All-Star Game.
Cartoon Network announced Cartoon Network Arcade, an exciting new mobile gaming destination app coming March 11! Learn more about the app from interviews with VentureBeat and Variety.
Good Shepherd Entertainment brought the award-winning skate-’em-up series OlliOlli to Nintendo Switch with OlliOlli: Switch Stance! Check out Nintendo Enthusiast’s review. Good Shepherd also announced rogue-like cyberpunk shooter Black Future ‘88 will launch on Switch later this year!
Skybound revealed that The Walking Dead: The Final Season Episode 4 and a boxed edition of the whole season will be released on March 26, and that an exclusive Collector’s Pack is available for pre-order now. In other Skybound news, Skullgirls 2nd Encore is coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One this spring.
Daedalic announced and released a slew of new games this month. Read about Barotrauma on PC Gamer and watch the Unrailed and Intruders: Hide and Seek trailers on IGN to see more.
PC Gamer wrote about the Immolator, a new AI monster coming to Crytek’s Hunt: Showdown!
Influencer Update
On the influencer side this month, we coordinated a campaign for the Black Desert Xbox One beta, which had over a quarter million players join! Check out Blitz’s YouTube video from the beta. The game launches on March 4.
Last month we shared some coverage from Devolver Digital’s Pikuniku, which launched on January 24th. The hits kept coming in this month, with videos from Splattercatgaming, GameGrumps, and ManyATrueNerd. Videos facilitated by Sandbox racked up 10 million views on YouTube!
Miscellaneous
The big trip of the month was Rob and Shaun’s Europe voyage (pictured above), which you can read about in its own blog post here. In another riveting Sandbox development, we combated the blinding sunlight in our office by installing blinds!
